Scotland A have lost Robbie Kydd and Rory Lamont for their final match in the Churchill Cup.

Northampton centre Kydd suffered damage to his right shoulder and Glasgow full-back Lamont sustained mild concussion during Tuesday’s 18-3 loss to England Saxons.

And after being assessed by the Scotland medical team, they have both been ruled out of Saturday’s Twickenham clash against Ireland A.

There was better news from the medics on flankers Donnie Macfadyen and Alasdair Strokosch.

Both are recovering from hand and leg injuries respectively and will be available for Saturday’s game.
