Ireland’s World Cup training squad reconvenes shortly to prepare for two warm-up matches in August ahead of the tournament which begins in September.

The players are currently continuing their preparations for the new season at their respective provincial training centres.

They will meet up again on Sunday 29 July in Limerick in readiness for matches against Scotland at Murrayfield on August 11 and Italy at Ravenhill on August 24.

The last time the squad met was for a week-long training camp in Spala, Poland, earlier in July.

Coach Eddie O’Sullivan is set to unveil his final 30-man World Cup squad the day after playing Scotland on August 12.
