Ireland lock Paul O’Connell will make his first start of the season for Munster on Saturday evening against Cardiff Blues.
Munster coach Declan Kidney has named O’Connell, Peter Stringer and Tony Buckley in his team for the Arms Park clash.
O’Connell replaced Mick O’Driscoll during Ireland’s 34-13 demolition of Scotland at Croke park last weekend after a back injury threatened to rule him out of the whole RBS 6 Nations campaign.
