Wales have been handed a favourable draw for the Scottish leg of the 2007-2008 IRB Sevens World Series.

Gareth Baber’s side will take on third seeds Samoa, who head pool C, along with Canada and newcomers Spain, having memorably defeated Fiji in last season’s quarter finals at Murrayfield from May 31 to June 1.

Before then Wales, who lie in tenth position in the IRB Sevens overall standings, will take part in the London Sevens at Twickenham on May 24-25.
