Bernardo Stortoni is poised to face some of his Glasgow Warriors team-mates after he was named in Argentina’s squad for the Test series against Scotland.

The attacking full-back has been included in Argentina’s 24-man squad for the first Test after missing out on last year’s World Cup.

New coach Santiago Phelan is without many of his French-based stars and the 31-year-old is in with a fair chance of adding to his 19 caps.

The Pumas meet Scotland at Rosario’s Estadio Gigante de Arroyito on June 7 before the sides meet again in Buenos Aires one week later.

The opener will be Argentina’s first Test outing since their World Cup campaign, which saw them beat Scotland at the quarter-final stage.

Argentina follow up their two-Test series against Scotland with a clash against Italy in Cordoba on June 28.

Dan Parks, Graeme Morrison and Andy Henderson are among Stortoni’s Glasgow team-mates in Scotland’s squad.
