Scotland have been handed a much-needed boost for the double-header against Argentina with lock Alastair Kellock passed fit to travel to South America.
The Glasgow Warriors captain has played a full part in training this week after recovering from knee surgery.
Fellow lock Craig Hamilton will also fly out tomorrow but Scotland coach Frank Hadden is unclear whether he will take part in the two Tests against the Pumas.
Hadden still hopes to have Scott Murray available despite his involvement this weekend in the French championship, which was extended because of the World Cup.
The experienced Murray will fly out to Argentina if his team, Montauban, beat Clermont Auvergne to secure a top-seven finish and a European Cup place.
Perpignan lock Nathan Hines is unavailable as his side challenge for the play-offs while Edinburgh summer signing Jim Hamilton is injured.
Craig Hamilton, 28, who was last capped against New Zealand three years ago, joins uncapped New Zealand-born lock Matt Mustchin in the travelling party.
Mustchin only qualified for Scotland this week on residency grounds on the third anniversary of his move to Edinburgh.
He joined Llanelli’s Scott MacLeod, who has 19 caps, in contention for a place in the second row.
Hadden said: “I’m delighted with the contribution Al and Craig have made this week. Both are fit and raring to go.
“Al is now added to the tour squad. Craig will travel with us and, depending on the results from France at the weekend, will either stay with us in the national squad or join up with the Scotland A squad in Canada for the Churchill Cup.
“Craig has been the consummate professional in this situation and I thank him for his first-class response.”
Scotland play Argentina on June 7 in Rosario and seven days later in Buenos Aires.
