Ulster Rugby will kick off the 2008-09 season with two home friendly fixtures against English Premiership sides Bath and the Worcester Warriors this August.

Ulster will host European Challenge Cup holders Bath on Friday 15th August, kick-off 19.30.

With former Ulster captain Justin Harrison having recently moved to Bath, it will be interesting viewing to watch Harrison play against his former team-mates. The Bath side boasts British and Irish Lion lock Danny Grewcock as well as England stars Lee Mears and Matt Stevens and not forgetting South African fly half Butch James.

On Wednesday 27th August, kick-off 19.30, Mike Ruddock’s Worcester Warriors will make their first visit to Ravenhill. The ambitious side, captained by English back rower Pat Sanderson, lost to Bath in the European Challenge Cup final by Bath.

With new signing Australian Chris Latham due to arrive in July the Ulster supporters could be in for some world class action at Ravenhill.
