The Irish Rugby Football Union has confirmed Munster players involved in the Ireland squads to face New Zealand and Argentina in November will not be available for the province’s game against the All Blacks.

Ireland host New Zealand on November 15th three days before Munster take on the same opponents at Thomond Park. Ireland are then in action again on November 22nd against the Pumas.

The IRFU stated this has been the position since the game was originally agreed and that decision was made bearing in mind both the importance of IRB World Ranking points available to Ireland this November and the physical impact on players participating in high level games in such a short space of time.
