Saracens wing Dan Scarbrough has parted ways with the club by mutual consent.
Scarbrough joined the Saracens from Leeds in 2004, and topped the try-scoring charts in his second season with the club. He was capped twice by England, in the 2003 World Cup warm-up win over Wales and on tour to South Africa in 2007.
A Sevens international and Saxons regular, Scarbrough has found first-team opportunities hard to come by this season after the emergence of young talents such as Noah Cato and the continuing high-performance of Kameli Ratuvou.
“Dan has been a terrific servant to Saracens over the past four years and he’s a great bloke to have around the club who works and trains very hard,” Saracens director of rugby Eddie Jones said. “We wish him all the best in the future.”
