Wednesday 31st March 2010 – RBS RugbyForce, the initiative that is helping local rugby clubs across the UK to improve their facilities, has a new agreement with Rhino Rugby to offer equipment and discounts to the programme’s winning and participating clubs.

Rhino, who have an established commercial relationship with RBS and are also an official supplier to the Rugby Football Union and the Welsh Rugby Union, have shown their support of RBS RugbyForce by offering a ten percent discount on equipment to all clubs which participate in an RBS RugbyForce event. The three winning clubs selected by the judging panel to receive an RBS RugbyForce renovation package worth £5k, will also now receive an additional package of £1,000 worth of rugby equipment selected by Rhino. The other participating clubs will be able to select from a variety of Rhino products and services including service to and purchase of scrum machines, contact and training and other equipment. The partnership with Rhino will give rugby clubs up and down the UK a fantastic incentive to take part in the RBS RugbyForce weekend (June 5th and 6th).

Reg Clark, Rhino Rugby Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to have teamed up with RBS RugbyForce. We have a huge amount of respect for the initiative and it is something we were really keen to be a part of. We hope that our offer will encourage every club who has registered to take part in the weekend this year, as this is something that all participating clubs can hugely benefit from.”

Bruce Cook, RBS Sponsorship Manager, said: “It’s great to have Rhino supporting RBS RugbyForce this year. They’re a great company and a great client and we really appreciate their willingness to step up and add some great value to the programme. With more than 350 clubs registered for RBS RugbyForce, I’m sure we’ll soon see even more Rhino rugby equipment in UK clubs.”
