Scotland coach Andy Robinson believes both Glasgow and Edinburgh are good enough to win the Magners League this season.

Both teams currently sit in the top four of the league and look set to qualify for a play-off place for the end of season knockout stage.

Scotland, who ended their RBS 6 Nations campaign with an encouraging 23-20 win against Ireland, have a summer tour to Argentina this year.

And Robinson said: “Both Edinburgh and Glasgow have won in Wales this season and Glasgow got the Munster monkey off their backs.

“The two sides are doing really well in the regular league and both can make the semi-finals.

“Either one could win the title for the first time and it’s a good chance for players to impress ahead of the summer.”
