Toulouse will be without captain Thierry Dusautoir for their Heineken Cup quarter final clash with Biarritz in San Sebastian on April 9 after he was injured in a clash with Sebastien Chabal.

The destructive flanker, who led France to second in the RBS 6 Nations, twisted his ankle in the thumping 43-21 defeat to Racing-Metro yesterday and is expected to be out of action for a month.

The 29-year-old was forced off with 15 minutes to go of his side’s defeat at the Stade de France as he failed to stop Chabal charge over for the Parisians’ third try.

However an MRI scan showed the damage was not too serious and there was no question of Dusautoir missing the rest of the season or this Autumn’s World Cup.

Racing had scored the first try after just nine minutes when scrum-half Nicolas Durand’s blind inside pass sent Johnny Leo’o over the line.

Jonathan Wisniewski, who was in impressive form as he slotted 28 points, kicked Racing further ahead for a 21-12 half-time lead before his kick set up a magnificent breakaway try for Julien Saubade to make sure of the win.

Chabal then crossed for the bonus point score as Racing moved to within one point of the league leaders with four games to go.
