Ireland women’s coach Philip Doyle has named an unchanged side for their re-scheduled clash with Wales on Saturday at Ashbourne RFC.

The original game was postponed at half-time during the first round of fixtures due to adverse weather conditions, with Ireland leading 10-3 at the time.

Since that match the Irish women lost a narrow clash with France 8-7, in which they came back from 8-0 down, before claiming a morale-boosting 40-10 win over Italy last time out, leading Doyle to keep the faith.

In contrast Wales arrive at Ashbourne on the back of a 33-0 thrashing against reigning RBS 6 Nations champions England at Twickenham, having begun their campaign with a 20-0 win over Scotland.
