Up first are Australia who, after a tough summer, have shown marked improvement under their new head coach Ewan McKenzie and Tom Youngs, England’s hooker who made waves last season, is looking forward to the challenge.

He said: “England versus Australia has always been a massive rivalry – it was one game last year that dented our confidence a little bit, so we’re certainly looking forward to putting that right this year. We had a good training week in Leeds last week and we’re building towards it now.

“You’re playing for your country – I feel very passionate about that and feel a great amount of pride playing for them.”
