France head into this weekend’s clash with England smarting from just two wins from 11 Tests in 2013.

The first of these came in their final RBS 6 Nations game against Scotland, however it wasn’t enough for them to avoid finishing bottom of the pile.

As Les Bleus look to put a disappointing 12 months behind them Saint-Andre insists they couldn’t ask for a better fixture in which to do so as they prepare to take on England.

And the France coach is hoping his side create more memorable moments as they bid to get off to a winning start.

“Now 2014 is very big for us and we don’t begin with a starter but the main course,” he said.

“I don’t think in this England squad there are any guys like Brian Moore. It’s a professional sport. There’s not only the referee but the men on the touchline, the video referee. The game is much quicker and more and more physical.

“But it’s still a fantastic event. There are people who don’t have a clue about rugby but each year they watch France against England. Every time it’s very special.

“It’s about more than sport. It’s about history.”
