Scottish starlet Adam Sinclair has his sights set on the RBS 6 Nations, as he seeks a move to a major club north of the border.

The 23-year-old lock earned 14 caps for Scotland Under-20s, but after learning his trade in France with the Perpignan academy and Albi, has been playing on a short-term contract at English Championship club Rotherham.

Sinclair, who stands at 6ft 6in and weighs 19 stone, is currently considering offers from French clubs but admits he has his heart set on playing in the RBS 6 Nations.

That means he is after a move to either Glasgow Warriors or Edinburgh in the Pro12, and Sinclair insists he has plenty to offer either side.

“It was made clear to me that if I want to achieve my ambitions, which would mean playing in the RBS 6 Nations, it would be a great asset to be playing for a club in Scotland,” he told the Daily Record.

“I have a couple of offers from France that I am considering.

“But I’m hoping that I will get a bit of interest from home because that’s the direction I want to be heading in.

“I’m hoping I can fill a slot where the right team needs a big guy with a bit of quality. I know I have a lot to offer.”
