England No.8 Nathan Hughes has been off to see the historical sights in a destination well known to Six Nations fans:

Fellow England back row Chris Robshaw has gone a bit further afield in Africa:

Meanwhile, France’s Rémi Lamerat has been trialling some Greek wines during his time away from the game:

Veteran Sergio Parisse, shown here on his wife’s Twitter, has been enjoying some family time with his soon-to-be one-year-old son Leonardo:

WEDDING BELLS RINGING

With such tough schedules during the season, players often take the chance to tie the knot with George Ford attending childhood friend and team-mate Owen Farrell’s wedding:

Kilted flyer Lee Jones also shared this picture from his wedding day:

Meanwhile, Jack McGrath was surrounded by Ireland team-mates as he exchanged vows with Sinead Corcoran with Rob Henshaw, Garry Ringrose and Jordi Murphy joining the celebrations in the Algarve.

HARD WORK STARTS HERE

Maxime Médard was also wasting no time getting some fitness in ahead of the new 2018/19 season with his club side Toulouse:

The Zebre team, who enjoyed such success in the Guinness PRO14 last year, are already into their second week of pre-season:

And Richard Cockerill has been working his Edinburgh squad hard – they’re already six weeks into their programme:
