Canterbury have launched the new England Rugby home and alternative kits for the upcoming 2018/19 season.

The home shirt, which will be worn both by England’s men and women in their 2019 Six Nations campaigns, is inspired by the ‘white noise’ that fans create when cheering on their team.

Both sides will debut the kits in their respective autumn Tests against South Africa in November, before attempting to repeat the Six Nations double that they won in 2017 when the tournaments get underway in February.

England men’s captain Dylan Hartley said: “Every player in the squad is proud to represent England, put on the jersey and wear the rose so it’s great to see that English pride is reflected in the kit design.

“Every time we pull on the shirt we want to go out there, give it our all and make sure that we are constantly working hard and improving our performance.

“It gives us real confidence knowing we are wearing the best possible kit.”

The jerseys feature a cross-hatching of St. George’s Crosses to create a textured gripping effect, and VapoDri technology, which is designed to draw sweat from the body.

Simon Rowe, head of sports marketing at Canterbury said: “At Canterbury we spend significant amounts of time with professional players to get their feedback and insight and strive to create the highest quality kit that not only delivers superior performance and comfort but also captures the spirit of the game within its design.”
