Adam Griggs has named seven uncapped players in his 36-strong squad ahead of the 2019 Women’s Six Nations.

Ireland get their Championship underway when they host England at the Energia Stadium on February 1 as they look to build upon last year’s impressive third-place showing.

Enya Breen, Kathryn Dane, Linda Djougang, Ailbhe Dowling, Eve Higgins, Claire Keohane and Hannah O’Connor are the debutants looking to impress as they bid to make an impression on the pitch, with Ireland searching for their first Women’s Six Nations title since 2015.

Captain Ciara Griffin joins a number of senior players in the ranks, with Claire Molloy and Alison Miller also among the 36.

Beibhinn Parsons – who became Ireland’s youngest ever player when she turned out against the USA in the Autumn Internationals at 16 – is also included, as well as a raft of Ireland’s sevens squad members.
