Tickets for Scotland’s 2019 Guinness Six Nations games have been at a premium this year but there is still time to get your hands on some.

A final release of tickets for Scotland v Ireland at BT Murrayfield on Saturday 9 February at 3pm will be available to purchase online from 10am on Thursday (17 January).

Gregor Townsend’s men celebrated a third-place finish in last year’s Championship but will be looking to exact revenge over Ireland having lost out to the eventual Grand Slam winners at the Aviva Stadium in 2018.

Scotland have the luxury of three home matches this time around but with tickets for the match against Wales already sold out and tickets very limited for the match against Italy, this could be your last chance to see the Scots in the flesh.

Few trophies have been as evenly shared out in world rugby as the Centenary Quaich since it was introduced to the winners of the match in 1989.

And Scotland have the opportunity to draw level this year as they trail Ireland’s overall trophy haul of 15 by just one.

The last time the reigning champions travelled to BT Murrayfield, it was anything but easy pickings as Scotland triumphed in a narrow 27-22 win in the opening game of the 2017 Championship.

Two-time Player of the Championship Stuart Hogg was the standout performer in that match with two tries and last year’s Player of the Championship Jacob Stockdale managed the same feat in last year’s tie.

Hogg was named in Scotland’s squad announcement for the Championship earlier this week and with Stockdale a shoe-in for selection, both players are expected to be on the field for this match and on the hunt for tries.
