After a brief hiatus, the Guinness Six Nations returns with three mouth-watering games this weekend.
Early pace-setters England head to Cardiff to face another unbeaten side in Wales, while France host Scotland and champions Ireland travel to Italy.
Here are five must-have backs for your Guinness Six Nations Fantasy Rugby team ahead of the Round Three return.
ELLIOT DALY – 16.2
The clash between the two unbeaten Guinness Six Nations teams at Principality Stadium on Saturday is a huge one, and we expect the battle between the back-three to be crucial.
England exploited space in behind expertly against both Ireland and France, and although tempted to pick wing Jonny May as one of our must-have backs this weekend Wales will no doubt be wary of his threat and he’ll be watched like a hawk.
Full-back Daly has been excellent so far and has both the running and kicking game to cause problems wherever, he’s averaging 52.6 Fantasy points per game and has scored one try so far, while his long-range boot may come into play against Wales.
JOSH ADAMS – 14.0
Occupying one of the wings in Round Two’s Guinness Six Nations Fantasy Team of the Week was Wales’ Josh Adams – who has started the Championship in blistering form.
Adams racked up 69.1 points from Round Two following a strong display in the win over Italy, touching down with a 53rd-minute try for the first of his Championship.
The Worcester Warrior will only cost you 14 stars in Fantasy Rugby but has delivered form that belies that value, carrying for 137 metres already.
Another Welsh wing – George North – dazzled with two tries in the Round One win over France but Adams may have been more influential in the result, with several determined runs and the out-of-nowhere clean break that sparked Wales’ comeback.
MICHELE CAMPAGNARO – 11.8
Michele Campagnaro may not have yet scored a Championship try this year but we’re backing the former Italy captain to get his name on the scoreboard against Ireland.
The Azzurri got opportunities last time out against Wales, scoring two tries, and expect it to be the same case against champions Ireland.
Campagnaro has made 121 metres, 15 tackles and beaten five defenders so far – the underlying statistics that hint at Fantasy Rugby points to come from one of the most determined ball-carrying backs around.
SAM JOHNSON – 12.2
What an impact Sam Johnson has had in the Championship thus far, making his international splash in style against Italy in Round One.
The Glasgow Warrior didn’t score against the Azzurri but produced a standout all-round performance, tackling and passing with aplomb while beating six defenders with ball in hand.
And Johnson didn’t have to wait long for his first international try as he struck in the 28th minute against Ireland amidst another composed performance.
Johnson is averaging 40 points per game and yet only costs 12.2 stars – he’s beaten eight defenders already and he’ll get chances to increase that tally against Les Bleus.
ANTOINE DUPONT – 12.8
The 44-8 defeat to England in this year’s Guinness Six Nations is a match France will want to quickly forget but Antoine Dupont provided a genuine spark in his 34 minutes of action after emerging from the bench.
He managed the most line breaks of any player across the entire Round Two weekend with three, topped the offload charts with four and racked up 90.7 metres with ball in hand which put him fifth across the Championship, according to the statistics provided by AWS.
This will be his first opportunity to start a match for France in 15 months but the Scots will need to be on high alert at the Stade de France.
