The Women’s Six Nations begins this year with a tantalising triple-header on Sunday, with the prospect of all three matches running concurrently across Europe.
Ireland host Scotland at Energia Park, with Italy facing Wales at Cardiff Arms Park and reigning Grand Slam champions England tasked with a tricky trip to France and the Stade du Hameau.

Dublin plays host to a clash between two teams looking for tangible gains this weekend, keen to put disappointing 2019 campaigns behind them.
It was Ireland who came out victorious from this fixture last year – albeit at Scotstoun – with a four-try 22-5 triumph sealing what was their sole win of the Championship.
And history is against Phil Doyle’s side, with the visitors having beaten Ireland only once in their 13-match head-to-head match-ups.
The hosts – winners of the Championship back in 2015 – will certainly be keen to make a positive start in front of their home fans this time around, after being downed by England in the same city last year to open up.

Across the Irish Sea, at exactly the same time, Italy will kick off their bid to go one better than last year’s second-place finish when they take on Wales.
The hosts were one of only two sides – including England – who were not beaten by Italy last year, agonisingly denied victory in their 3-3 draw when Jasmine Joyce’s stunning try was ruled out due to a forward pass.
And any attempts to split the sides on head-to-head will also prove fruitless, with their 13 Women’s Six Nations clashes being split down the middle, six wins apiece adding to last year’s tie.

The weekend’s headline clash sees perennial challengers, and old rivals, France and England do battle in Pau.
The two sides have traded the title over the last four years, with England gaining Grand Slam honours last time out.
They ran out 41-26 winners in the reverse fixture in 2019 but have not won in the competition in France since 2012 – a record Simon Middleton’s charges will be aching to put right.
