The wait is finally over and the 2020 Guinness Six Nations is here.

And that means one thing: the official Fantasy Rugby game is also back. All you have to do is sign up and then you can pick a team and claim bragging rights over your mates.

But who are the players you need to have in your team? We asked the six captains and coaches from England, Wales, Italy, Ireland, Scotland and France to provide their insight.

“Obviously I like the look of Johnny McNicholl and Nick Tompkins,” said Alun Wyn Jones, who led Wales to the Grand Slam in last year’s Guinness Six Nations.

Ireland captain Johnny Sexton was quick to back his fellow club teammate, saying: “Garry Ringrose has been in a bit of try-scoring form for Leinster.”

“Jake Polledri is a key player for us and all his qualities,” said Italian captain Luca Bigi on who he’d want in his Fantasy side. “Polledri is a key player for us at the moment.”

England captain Owen Farrell said: “Jonny May scores some tries normally, he’s a prolific finisher so I think if you are talking Fantasy Rugby and getting points then probably him.”

“Well, Jacob Stockdale has done it for us in the past and we have got a lot of players that are in form,” said Ireland head coach Andy Farrell.

“You have got good, exciting players like Jordan Larmour coming through and he will be a handful for opponents this year.”

Italian interim coach Franco Smith added: “I am excited to see what the young new loose forwards can do. I think Sergio [Parisse] left quite a legacy there in that regard.

“Now we are in the process of seeing some young loose forwards coming through with different characteristics so I think in that regard, we will be excited to see.”
