Emily Scarratt will captain England Women for their clash with Wales on Saturday as they look to make it four from four in the Women’s Six Nations.

Scarratt takes over the captaincy as Sarah Hunter drops to the bench in one of five changes to the starting XV that saw off Ireland in Round 3.

Jess Breach suffered an ankle injury in training this week that sees her ruled out of the remainder of the Championship, with Sarah McKenna switching from full-back to wing.

Emily Scott comes into the No.15 jersey, while the experienced Lydia Thompson gets the nod on the other wing at the expense of Abigail Dow.

Up front, Harlequins’ Amy Cokayne is set for her 50th cap at hooker, with Shaunagh Brown starting in place of Sarah Bern.

And the final change sees a first start of the Championship for Harriet Millar-Mills on the flank, with Sarah Beckett switching to No.8.

Uncapped 17-year-old Mia Venner is set to make her debut after being named on the bench.

The game at the Stoop has already seen 10,000 tickets sold, with England coach Simon Middleton excited about the occasion.

He said: “England against Wales in any sport is an iconic fixture and we are very much looking forward to the game.

“There’s been a fantastic effort across the board in terms of ticket sales and we know the crowd at the Stoop will create a wonderful atmosphere.

“I’d like to give a special mention to Amy Cokayne on her 50th cap. For someone so young to reach this milestone is an incredible achievement.

“Saturday will be a very special moment and one she deserves to enjoy.”
