Rory Best and Rob Kearney became the latest players to get behind the mic for re-commentary on a Guinness Six Nations classic on Friday night, joining Virgin Media commentator Dave McIntyre to re-watch Ireland’s clash with Wales from 2018.
The pair gave their insight into the epic conclusion of Round 1 of that Championship, which saw Ireland out-half Johnny Sexton land an incredible drop goal in driving rain in Paris to set Ireland on course to win just their third Grand Slam in history.
The broadcast supported ISPCC Childline with fans asked to donate to the charity if they are in a position to do so.
The Ireland v Wales clash features a back-and-forth battle which fans are sure to enjoy with tries, skill and a keen rivalry all on show on a sunny afternoon in Dublin.
Best and Kearney have both enjoyed storied careers, winning four Championships in ten years with Ireland, including two Grand Slams each.
No ticket needed but if you can please support @ISPCCChildline during the match.

Former Ireland captain Best commented: “I’m really looking forward to Friday evening and watching the game for fun. I know we are all missing our rugby so I hope fans will join Rob and myself with Dave McIntyre on comms for a bit of craic and a look back at a great game in Aviva Stadium.
“We’re also very conscious of the impact of the current situation on everyone and we’re delighted that Ireland team sponsor Vodafone has nominated Childline as the charity for this live stream. We hope you can support them and join us on Friday evening.”
The stream is the third in the series with the Aneurin Bevan Health Board (NHS Wales) and Save The Children Italia already having featured in matches which included George North, Jamie Roberts, Leonardo Ghiraldini and Alessandro Zanni giving their insights on classic matches to fans.
