France have called up back-rower Cameron Woki in place of No.8 Grégory Alldritt to prepare for the 2021 Guinness Six Nations.

Alldritt started every game of the 2020 Championship and was nominated for the Player of the Championship award.

However, the La Rochelle forward will not now link up with Les Bleus for their upcoming training camp.

Woki, who plays his club rugby for Bordeaux-Bègles, made his debut off the bench in last year’s opening game against England in Paris.

Later in the year he was one of the standout performers for France in the Autumn Nations Cup when Fabien Galthié was restricted in his selections by a limit on the number of matchday appearances for his players.

Woki suffered an ankle injury just before France’s squad was named for the Championship, but is now back in training and will link up with the squad after this weekend’s Top 14 action.

France open their campaign away to Italy in Round 1 before taking on Ireland the following weekend.
