George North will make history by becoming the youngest player in history to win 100 caps for his country when Wales welcome England to Cardiff today.
The boy who was born in King’s Lynn, Norfolk but moved to his mother’s homeland of Wales at the age of two will bring up the milestone in Round 3 of the Guinness Six Nations against the country of his birth.
North burst on to the scene as an 18-year-old when he scored two tries on debut against South Africa back in 2010 and has become a Wales great, winning two Grand Slams and an additional Championship title.
At age 28, he’ll become a centurion for his country – breaking the record held by Australia’s Michael Hooper by four weeks – and social media have been saluting the game-breaking back.
