Ireland have named a 23-man squad for a two-day mini-camp this week, as they gear up for their Guinness Six Nations Round 4 clash with Scotland.

Head coach Andy Farrell has retained almost all of the players involved in their handsome win away to Italy in Rome on Saturday.

Thirteen players have been released back to their province ahead of derby weekend in the Guinness PRO14, including the likes of centre Bundee Aki, flanker Josh van der Flier and scrum-half Craig Casey.

Captain Johnny Sexton leads the group of senior players staying with the national team in Dublin, while props Dave Kilcoyne and Tadhg Furlong, hooker Ronan Kelleher and winger Jordan Larmour will continue to receive medical treatment following knocks at the weekend.

Larmour, making his first start of the Championship, suffered a hip injury, while Kilcoyne went off for a HIA and Furlong and Kelleher hurt their ankles.

Ireland have two weeks to prepare for their clash with Scotland, which will take place at BT Murrayfield on Sunday 14th March.
