As ever,  the matches will be shown on ITV and BBC in the UK and Northern Ireland this weekend, while Virgin Media One is the place to be if you’re watching in the Republic of Ireland.

The Round 4 action gets underway in Rome, as Wayne Pivac takes his Wales team to Stadio Olimpico in the hope of maintaining their unbeaten record in this year’s Championship.

Dreams of a second Grand Slam in three years are very much still alive for the visitors, but Franco Smith will have his side primed and ready for action on home soil, and will be looking for a first win of the year themselves.

ITV 1HD will start coverage of that one at 1.30pm ahead of the 2.15pm kickoff, while the Welsh speaking contingent among us can tune into S4C at the same time to lap up the preamble.

For those of you watching in the Republic off Ireland, Virgin Media One will also be commencing coverage at 1.30pm, giving us all plenty of time to get ready for the first match of the weekend.

And that will be swiftly followed up by Le Crunch, as France travel to Twickenham to face old foes England, with Les Bleus another side still unbeaten in the 2021 Championship.

Eddie Jones will be looking for a response from his side after defeat to Wales last time out, and you don’t even need to change the channel to catch the drama from Rugby HQ, with ITV 1HD rolling straight into that one at 4.15pm ahead of the 4.45pm kickoff.

It’s a similar story in the Republic of Ireland, where the nonstop rugby coverage will continue on Virgin Media One, with the programme starting at 4.30pm.

Attention turns to Edinburgh on Sunday, where Scotland and Ireland go head-to-head at BT Murrayfield, in what is sure to be a thriller with both sides hungry for a second victory of the Championship.
