Finals Day more than lived up to expectations as three enthralling encounters provided no shortage of thrills and spills – not to mention plenty of spectacular tries.

Finals Day more than lived up to expectations as three enthralling encounters provided no shortage of thrills and spills – not to mention plenty of spectacular tries.

Ireland raised the curtain on the closing weekend with a superb performance in Dublin, defeating Italy 25-5 as Adam Griggs’ side secured third place in the Women’s Six Nations.

That was followed by the silverware showpiece as defending champions England withstood a second-half fightback from France to clinch a third successive title at The Stoop.

This year’s Championship was then brought to a thrilling finale as Scotland concluded their campaign on a high by getting the better of Wales 27-20 to finish in fifth.

And now it’s your time to have your say on the four contenders in the running for the Women’s Six Nations Try of the Round. Vote for your favourite score from Finals Day below.

A. Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe (1st Try – IRELAND v Italy)

Ireland were in clinical form as they finished their Championship in style with a 25-5 win over Italy and Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe stole the headlines with her superb display.

The sevens superstar crossed the whitewash twice on her first Ireland start – and her first try demonstrated exactly how her skillset translates to the 15-a-side game.

Off a well-executed lineout, the winger took first-phase pop ball and slipped between two Italian defenders before gliding away from another despairing defender to touch down under the posts.

B. Poppy Cleall (ENGLAND v France)

There was little to choose between defending champions England and France at The Stoop as only one try was scored – but it was a try worthy of wining any game.

Poppy Cleall singlehandedly turned the match in favour of the Red Roses as half-time approached, picking the ball from the back of a scrum and driving forwards.

She offloaded before being brought down and from the next phase, Cleall was there again to collect the ball before barging over the whitewash for the all-important score.

C. Lisa Neumann (Scotland v WALES)

Wales may have finished the 2021 Women’s Six Nations in sixth but Warren Abrahams’ side showed plenty of promising signs in their 27-20 defeat to Scotland on Finals Day.

Lisa Neumann’s try at the beginning of the second half certainly suggested a bright future for Wales, with the winger finishing clinically to cut the 17-6 half-time deficit.

My Rugby Life: Lana Skeldon

The visitors moved the ball quickly to Neumman out wide on the right and after breaking through a tackle, she stepped on the gas to race down the line and over the whitewash.

D. Dorothy Wall (IRELAND v Italy)

Ireland took no time at all to make their mark against Italy in Dublin.

Early pressure from the hosts nearly led to a try when Ciara Griffin alertly caught a loose ball and dived over but Brittany Hogan’s knock-on at the lineout saw it chalked off.

But they didn’t have to wait long for the first try as the ball was spread to the left flank where Dorothy Wall barrelled through the tackle of Sara Barattin to dot down.
