Ireland produced a scintillating display of rugby for the second week in a row as they beat Wales 40-12 in Cardiff to stay top of the 2021 Six Nations Under-20s table.

Nathan Doak was the catalyst for the win, scoring 20 points including a brilliant 50-metre try just after half-time.

Cathal Forde had got Ireland’s opening try before Chris Cosgrave scythed through for a second, with Daniel Okeke and skipper Alex Kendellen also going over.

Wales did get two tries of their own through Alex Mann and Carrick McDonough but it was Ireland’s day as they laid down another marker to the rest of the Championship.
