France put on a ruthless attacking clinic to pick up a bonus point win and leapfrog opponents Wales in the Six Nations Under-20s table.
Captain Noann Le Garrec was the player of the match as he steered the ship from scrum-half and watched on as his side ran in five tries.
Mathias Haddad, Louis Bielle Biarrey and an Alexandre Tchaptchet double wrapped up the bonus point before half-time.
Wales lost two men to the bin in a pulsating first 45 but still managed to score through Jacob Beetham’s try before France fly-half Thibault Debaes’ mazy run saw him cross after the break.
Beetham added a second after replacement Morgan Richards scored late on but Ioan Cunningham’s men were unable to prevent their opponents leapfrogging them in table.
