A quartet of stunning scores are in the running for the Six Nations Under-20s Try of Round 4 after Ireland, France and England all emerged victorious in Cardiff.
A bonus-point success over the hosts, Wales puts England on the verge of the title, needing just one point from their final game against Italy.
The only team who could deny them are Ireland, who came from behind to beat the Azzurrini, and they will now take on a France team that overpowered Scotland, despite a first-half red card.
There were tries aplenty across the three matches, but you have four to choose from to decide the Try of the Round.
Simone Gesi – Ireland v ITALY
Italy looked like they might record a second win in a row, leading at half-time against Ireland before eventually going down 30-23.
That was despite a lovely try from winger Simone Gesi, who showed his remarkable pace to get over for his side’s first try.
From a chargedown, the ball rebounded into the hands of the winger just inside the Ireland half. He had two men still to beat but turned on the afterburners and was able to outpace them both on his way over.
Enzo Reybier – FRANCE v Scotland
Enzo Reybier had a mixed outing for France in their 45-21 win over Scotland, finishing off a stunning score before seeing red for a dangerous tackle after 25 minutes.
Prior to that, the winger showed his finishing ability from some brilliant build-up. Fly-half Thibault Debaes demonstrated his accuracy with a pinpoint kick out wide to hooker Benjamin Boudou. He then fed Reybier inside him, and the winger stepped out of one tackle, fended off another and went over for France’s second try.
Maxime Baudonne – FRANCE v Scotland
Maxime Baudonne had got the ball rolling early for France against Scotland, and he also had the final word in a Player of the Match display.
The move started with Thibault Debaes spotting a mismatch in front of him and dancing his way through the Scottish defensive line.
He was eventually brought down just outside the 22, and Baudonne was then somehow able to scoop up the ball from between his legs, slipping past the ruck defence and racing home.
Arthur Relton – ENGLAND v Wales
England knew that a bonus-point win over Wales would take them to the brink of the title, and they duly delivered with a 45-3 victory.
They had three tries when Arthur Relton clinched the bonus point after some fine work from his forwards in the build-up.
The pack had been rebuffed as they hammered away from close range, but those charges had the desired effect as they sucked in the Welsh defence. That allowed Jack van Poortvliet to throw a long pass and quick hands enabled Relton to stroll in almost untouched.
