England are set for a blockbuster end to 2022 when they take on New Zealand and South Africa in back-to-back weeks as part of their Autumn Nations Series campaign.

Under Eddie Jones, England went unbeaten in 2021, including earning revenge over the Springboks who had beaten them in the 2019 Rugby World Cup final.

The two sides will meet again next November to round out a compelling quartet of matches for England.

They will start things off against Argentina in their opening fixture on November 6, a pre-cursor for their 2023 Rugby World Cup pool match.

That will be followed by a meeting with Japan, another 2023 pool opponent, six days later.

After that comes the meeting with the All Blacks, the first since England won the World Cup semi-final against New Zealand 19-7.

And then a week later, just as was the case in Japan in 2019, England will take on the Springboks, with the tough schedule forming the perfect preparation for France in 2023 according to Eddie Jones.

Jones said: “These fixtures will be a really important part of our preparation for the 2023 World Cup.

“It’s almost a mini World Cup in itself and we’re fortunate to have it less than a year before the tournament.

“It will be a good litmus test for the team to see where we are at, culminating in playing first and second in the world.

“We saw how much of a difference having a full Twickenham Stadium was this autumn and we can’t wait to play a series of games against such quality opposition in front of our supporters.”
