Round 3 delivered another thrilling weekend of Guinness Six Nations action and following wins for France, England and Ireland, the time has come to vote for your Try of the Round.

Les Bleus remain the Championship front runners after defeating Scotland 36-17 in Edinburgh, with the visitors scoring several breathtaking tries at BT Murrayfield in the process.

England are also still in the title mix after edging out Wales 23-19 at Twickenham despite the defending Guinness Six Nations scoring three second-half tries in a late fightback.

And the weekend’s action concluded in Dublin, where Ireland recorded a bonus-point success to sit second in the standings going into the final two rounds of the Championship.

There were plenty of superb scores in all three games but we have narrowed the list down to four. Now it’s time for you to decide which is worthy of being Guinness Six Nations Try of Round 3.

Paul Willemse – SCOTLAND 17-36 FRANCE

Les Bleus flew out of the blocks in Edinburgh and it took them no time at all to demonstrate the attacking flair that makes them one of the best sides in the world right now.

A kick deep into French territory had Antoine Dupont scrambling back, but after collecting the ball, he skipped past Darcy Graham and Rory Darge before powering over Ali Price.

Gaël Fickou was on hand to put Cyril Baille through a gap and then Fickou again recycled for Julien Marchand to feed Paul Willemse to finish one of the tries of the Championship.

Yoram Moefana – SCOTLAND 17-36 FRANCE

Just before the quarter-hour mark, France were in again as Yoram Moefana finished off another scintillating team move despite the best efforts of half a dozen Scotland defenders.

It started from a 50:22 by Melvyn Jaminet. From the lineout, the French backs produced some sublime hands with offloads and crisp passing to put Damian Penaud into space on the right.

The cover defence drifted across and the winger ran out of room, offloading back to Baille just before being pushed into touch. Baille then did the same with Moefana on hand to dot down.

Josh Adams – ENGLAND 23-19 WALES

England may have claimed the all-important victory at Twickenham but Wales outscored their hosts when it came to tries after running in three second-half efforts in a valiant fightback.

It was looking bleak for the defending champions at 17-0 down as the hour approached but this superbly worked try for Josh Adams with 53 minutes on the clock kick-started the response.

Wales had possession in the England 22 and after Owen Watkin ran hard at the wall of white shirts, Tomos Williams threw a brilliant two player miss-pass to Adams to run in the corner.

Joey Carbery – IRELAND 57-6 ITALY

Following their Grand Slam-ending defeat to France in Round 2, Ireland started strongly at the Aviva Stadium and showed their cutting edge with the opening try after three minutes.

Some powerful bursts from the forwards punched holes in the Italian defence, and when Caelan Doris found a gap, he offloaded to Dan Sheehan who in turn fed Joey Carbery for the try.

While the hosts eventually ran out comfortable winners after Italy were reduced to 13 men, the best try scored by Andy Farrell’s side remained their first against the full XV.
