2017 Six Nations – England 61-21 Scotland

A second successive Six Nations title secured with a win which equalled the world record for most consecutive Test wins, England’s defeat of Scotland at the 2017 Six Nations was historic on several levels.

Jonathan Joseph’s hat-trick and Danny Care’s double helped put the visitors to the sword at Twickenham, Billy Vunipola and Anthony Watson both adding a try apiece.

A one-sided first half saw the hosts wrap up the Championship before the final weekend and they went on to equal their biggest ever winning margin against Scotland, the destination of the Calcutta Cup never in doubt.

2019 Guinness Six Nations – Ireland 20-32 England

Hailed as the template for England’s demolition of New Zealand at the 2019 Rugby World Cup, Jones’ side were at their best to down the Guinness Six Nations holders in Dublin.

First-half tries from Jonny May and Elliot Daly were added to by Henry Slade’s second-half brace as Ireland were handed their first Championship home defeat in six years.

Man of the Match winner Mako Vunipola was pivotal in a victory which World Cup-winning coach Sir Clive Woodward later said sits within his top five favourite England performances.

2019 Rugby World Cup – England 19-7 New Zealand

England stormed into their first World Cup final in 12 years with this memorable victory over the tournament favourites.

Jones’ gameplan was carried out to perfection against the three-time champions New Zealand, Manu Tuilagi crossing for England’s sole try with George Ford slotting four penalties to seal the deal.

England may have gone on to lose the final against South Africa but this game stands out as one of England’s best performances of recent times and arguably the highlight of Jones’ tenure.

2021 Autumn Nations Series – England 27-26 South Africa

A tale of revenge, Marcus Smith’s last-gasp penalty against South Africa saw England’s 2021 campaign end on a high.

Jones’ team outfoxed their 2019 World Cup final conquerors at Twickenham in dramatic fashion, having initially let a 17-6 half-time lead slip as the Springboks rallied after the break.

But Smith held his nerve from the tee with 15 seconds left on the clock to send the home faithful into raptures and secure a notable triumph.
