Steve Borthwick will lead out England for the first time as head coach on February 4, but he is no stranger to the pressure cooker that is the Guinness Six Nations.

Borthwick won 57 caps in the England second row between 2001 and 2010 and captained his country 21 times in an illustrious playing career.

The first of those appearances came against France in Round 5 of the Championship some 22 years ago.

England ran out 48-19 winners on their way to the title with a fresh-faced Borthwick catching the eye at Twickenham.
