Round 3 of the Guinness Six Nations provided thrills and excitement and three games that were decided in the final ten minutes.

Ireland are now the only team who can still dream of a Grand Slam, but they needed Mack Hansen’s second try on 70 minutes to finally see off Italy’s stubborn resistance in a 34-20 win.

Later on Saturday, England saw off Wales in a tight affair, this one sealed with just six minutes remaining when Ollie Lawrence crashed over in a 20-10 success.

Then on Sunday, perhaps the game of the weekend saw France end Scotland’s hopes of a Grand Slam. In a contest where both sides played with 14 men for more than an hour, Gaël Fickou finally killed off Scottish comeback hopes as Les Bleus ran out 32-21 winners.

As we head into the rest week, Ireland lead the way with 15 points at the top of the table, ahead of a trip to Edinburgh to take on Scotland in second. Level with the Scots on points are England and France, who will meet at Twickenham, with winless pair Italy and Wales set to face off in Rome.

But before then, it’s time for you to cast your vote for your favourite player in each position after a memorable weekend for Rugby’s Greatest Championship.

We will tally up the votes to determine the Team of the Round for week one, while the player with the most votes overall will be crowned Player of the Round.
