Excitement is building as the countdown to the inaugural Autumn Nations Cup continues, with just over a week to go until the international showdown gets underway in Dublin.
Taking place across four weekends, the new and innovative tournament will see England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, France, Italy, Fiji and Georgia contest for the title.
The eight teams have been split into two pools of four, with Group A consisting of England, Ireland, Wales and Georgia while Group B features France, Scotland, Italy and Fiji.
Each team will play the other teams in their group once before facing the side ranked in the same position as them in the opposite pool on the final weekend to work out the overall standings.
The action gets underway over the weekend of 13th-15th November, kicking off with Ireland’s mouth-watering collision with Wales at the Aviva Stadium on the opening Friday night.
This will be followed on Saturday by England’s opener against Georgia and Italy’s clash with Scotland, before France entertain Fiji on Sunday in the final game of the weekend.
And supporters in the UK can ensure they don’t miss a single minute of the drama thanks to a new TV deal with Amazon Prime Video and Channel 4 which will see all 16 games shown live.
Amazon Prime Video is taking its first steps into the rugby market by covering the tournament, with the streaming giant showing 14 of the 16 games across the four weekends.
Only the Autumn Nations Cup opener between Ireland and Wales, and Ireland’s match with Georgia in Round 3 will not be on Amazon, with Channel 4 showing both games free-to-air.
The blockbuster Round 2 clash between England and Ireland on November 21 will also be shown both broadcasters, free-to-air on Channel 4 and on Amazon Prime Video.
