Scotland and Italy kicked off the Summer Nations Series last weekend and Saturday brings three more intriguing clashes, each involving Guinness Six Nations sides.
Who is playing?
The action begins in Edinburgh as Gregor Townsend’s side welcome France to Scottish Gas Murrayfield in a 3.15pm kick-off.
France ran out 36-17 winners on their last visit to the Scottish capital in the Guinness Six Nations in 2021, and also came out on top when the two sides met in Paris earlier this year.
Attention switches to Cardiff from 5.30pm as old enemies Wales and England do battle at Principality Stadium.
Steve Borthwick’s side prevailed 20-10 in February’s meeting at the same venue and this is the first of a quickfire double header between the sides, who reconvene at Twickenham next weekend.
The third course comes from Dublin as Ireland take on Italy at the Aviva Stadium.
Italy have not beaten Ireland since 2013 and face a stern test if they are to put that record straight against Andy Farrell’s side, back in action for the first time since securing a Grand Slam in March.
What’s the key team news?
Finn Russell will captain Scotland for the first time against France, who give debuts to Emilien Gailleton, Louis Bielle-Biarrey and Paul Boudehent.
