The Scots have never beaten the All Blacks in 31 attempts with 29 defeats and two draws the tale of the tape as the two sides collide at Murrayfield.
Gregor Townsend’s side began their Autumn Nations Series campaign with 16-15 defeat to Australia but rebounded with 28-12 victory over Fiji.
Meanwhile the All Blacks ran in eight tries to see off Wales 55-23 in Cardiff.
Russell back in the fold
The big news sees Finn Russell recalled by Gregor Townsend.
The fly-half steps in after an injury to Adam Hastings for his first Test appearance since the 2022 Guinness Six Nations.
Sione Tuipulotu comes in at inside centre for Cameron Redpath with Fraser Brown replacing George Turner at hooker.
Those are the three changes made by Townsend with WP Nel in line for a 50th cap for Scotland should he come off the bench.
All Blacks ring the changes
Ian Foster has made seven changes from the team that romped to victory in Cardiff.
Mark Telea will be pitched in from the start for his All Blacks debut, replacing Sevu Reece on the right wing.
Beauden Barrett shifts to fly-half with Jordie Barrett dropping back to replace him at full-back.
Caleb Clarke is the only survivor in a much-changed backline, with Anton Lienert-Brown and David Havili forming an all-new centre combination and Scottish-born Finlay Christie starting at fly-half.
The pack is more settled with Sam Whitelock and Scott Barrett continuing in the engine room. Samisoni Taukei’aho and Nepo Laulala step into the front row while Akira Ioane takes over at blindside.
