With Round 3 now in the books following wins for France, England and Ireland, the time has come to see who has made the Guinness Six Nations Fantasy Rugby Team of the Week.

Ireland unsurprisingly dominate the team after they put on 57 points against Italy.

Two tries each for James Lowe and debutant Michael Lowry saw them earn 89.4 and 94.1 points, respectively.

Lowry’s haul makes him this week’s highest scorer thanks to his two tries and 96 metres carried.

Lowe made the most metres carried, 116, as well as the most carries in the game with 15 as Ireland took advantage of a 13-man Italy side.

Guinness Six Nations Player of the Match Josh van der Flier and back row partner Caelan Doris also made the team with scores of 72.8 and 63.89 respectively.

Doris and van der Flier both recorded a dominant tackle, while Ryan Baird finished with the most tackles in the match alongside van der Flier with 12.

22-year-old Baird recorded 68.4 points as he scored his first try for Ireland and is joined in the team by hooker Dan Sheehan, who recorded 10 tackles to score 48.4 points.

Table-toppers France also feature in this week’s team, with five players scoring well enough in their 36-17 win over Scotland.

Damian Penaud scored two tries as well as carrying the most metres for his side with 90 to score 82.5 points from the wing.

He’s joined in the backs by the returning Jonathan Danty as he scored France’s crucial third try and made six carries to score 67.7 points.

Danty is partnered in midfield by Yoram Moefana who also grabbed a try and made seven carries for a total of 80 metres, racking up 63.5 points.

Cyril Baille takes a place in the front row with 32.36 points, while Antoine Dupont once again makes an appearance with 76.9 points.

The scrum-half didn’t score any points but was influential throughout the game, making the most passes, 32, as well as two dominant tackles.

Stuart Hogg also makes the team from the Scotland side defeated by France with 67.3 points.

The full-back made by far the most metres carried in the game, 173, over a total of 12 carries as well as four kicks.

The team is rounded up by three England players from their 23-19 victory over Wales at Twickenham.

Try-scorer Alex Dombrandt makes the team at No.8 thanks to his 16 carries and 13 tackles and is joined by fellow forward Courtney Lawes on his return to the England team.

Captain Lawes scored 41.7 points after making 14 tackles including 2 dominant tackles and Ellis Genge rounds off the team with 39.3 points from the front row courtesy of 13 carries for a total of 65 metres.
