Here are TikTok’s ‘Top Picks’ from Round Two of the Championships – a selection of trending videos which capture the spirit of the Guinness Six Nations and showcase the creativity of the TikTok community.
1. Ollie Lawrence’s proud mum at Twickenham
A special moment between England’s Ollie Lawrence and his mum at Twickenham. Following the star centre’s man of the match performance against Italy, there was no one else he wanted to share his medal with. The clip has been viewed almost half a million times on TikTok.
2. When the try slips through your fingers…
Wales fans may want to look away as BBC Sport’s creative edit shows the team’s agonising missed try against Scotland. Using TikTok’s split screen function, the video shows the moment the try slipped away in slow motion, alongside the coaches’ head in hands reaction. It taps into the popular ‘Oh no’ trend on TikTok which sees the community sharing its most unfortunate fails set against an original sound.
3. Antoine Dupont is built different
This edit from @sixnationsrugby shows French captain Antoine Dupont’s superhuman tackle to prevent an Irish try at the Aviva Stadium. It captures the heroic ‘try-stopper’ from several different angles, each more impressive than the last, with ITV commentary and an original TikTok sound adding to the drama.

The whole Ireland team showed how much playing for their country meant to them as Amhran Na Bhfiann played out before an impressive win over France, with captain Johnny Sexton and Andrew Porter visibly emotional at the Aviva Stadium.

Scotland’s Sione Tuipulotu relives that tackle on English fullback Freddie Steward on The Rugby Pod. He tells the host how he was dreading checking his phone after the match to see his dad’s reaction!
6. Ireland score a beautiful try
Ireland romped to victory over France on Saturday, and scored an amazing try in the process. Irish Rugby has been showing off the move on TikTok.
7. Letting the goose loose at Twickenham
Rugby fans were showing off their goose step to The Rugby Guy at the weekend – and some were a little better than others! The clip has received over 800k views on the platform.
