France’s first Championship win at Twickenham in 18 years was as big as it was historic, and social media was loving the French flair on show.
Performances do not come more professional than that of Fabien Galthiè’s side at HQ, as they capitalised on English errors to secure their biggest ever win in Le Crunch.
Wales also enjoyed a brilliant bonus-point triumph, recording their first win of the 2023 Guinness Six Nations by beating Italy in Rome.

FRANCE CONQUER TWICKENHAM AT LAST
The wait for a win at Twickenham was worth the wait in the end for France.
Not for the first time in this Championship, Les Bleus made a blistering start and were over inside two minutes courtesy of Thomas Ramos.
The second score may have been less eye-catching but was a result of a brilliant piece of skill from Antoine Dupont.
And it was set up for Thibaud Flament to bundle his way over the line for one of the great stories of the day…
A third followed before the break, with Charles Ollivon finishing off a brilliant forwards move.
But not everybody was willing France on to a bonus-point, with Irish fans hoping that whoever won at Twickenham did so without a bonus-point, giving them a chance of wrapping up the Championship on Sunday
Jonathan Danty was in no mood to make any allowances on his return to the Test arena, making his first appearance of this year’s Championship.
There was really was no stopping France, and even a former All Black was stunned by the French excellence.

The day’s action got underway at a sunny Stadio Olimpico, where one lucky individual took the phrase bird’s-eye view quite literally.
A rather fortuitous bounce of the ball saw Rio Dyer cross for the game’s first score.
And a second soon followed courtesy of the returning Liam Williams.
One player who really caught the eye on his first Championship start for six years was Rhys Webb.
Webb set up two tries while Taulupe Faletau scored one and set up another as Wales secured a much-needed victory.
After another absorbing encounter between these two, there was nothing but respect between the two captains.
