Italy have made two changes to their team to take on Wales in Cardiff on Saturday as Ange Capuozzo is handed his first start by Kieran Crowley.

The Grenoble full-back came off the bench to score two tries in the 33-22 loss to Scotland and is rewarded with the start at Principality Stadium.

He comes into the team for Pierre Bruno, with Edoardo Padovani shifting to the wing in the only change to the back line.

In the pack, Marco Fuser returns to take his place in the second row alongside Federico Ruzza, with Niccolò Cannone dropping to the bench.

Crowley has gone for a 6-2 split on the bench, with Cherif Traorè back having also featured in the game against England.

Elsewhere, the 23 is unchanged, with Michele Lamaro captaining the side in the back row with Toa Halafihi and Giovanni Pettinelli, while Callum Braley and Paolo Garbisi will form the half-back pairing once again.

The 20-year-old Leonardo Marin continues in the centres with Juan Ignacio Brex, and Montanna Ioane completes the back three.

Italy head to Wales looking to pick up their first win of the campaign, having produced their best display so far in defeat to Scotland, scoring three tries against Gregor Townsend’s side including Capuozzo’s second-half double.
