England fly-half Danny Cipriani has set himself a target of being fully fit by the end of November.
The 20-year-old dislocated his right ankle playing for club side Wasps in the Premiership against Bath in May.
The injury ruled him out of England’s ill-fated tour of New Zealand and makes Cipriani extremely doubtful for the autumn internationals.
He told BBC Sport: “I’m not setting myself an exact game, but late November would be a good comeback for me from the injury,” said Cipriani.
“I don’t want to do things by halves, I want to be fully fit and ready to go.”
