Elliot Daly has earned an England recall and will start at outside centre for their Guinness Six Nations trip to Ireland on Super Saturday.

Daly started England’s first three matches at full-back but was dropped to the bench for their 23-20 home win against France in Round 4.

The Saracens playmaker returns to the team but will instead wear the No.13 jersey after Henry Slade was ruled out with a calf injury, while centre Joe Marchant has been called up to the bench.

That is the only change Eddie Jones has made for the trip to Dublin, with Owen Farrell once again taking the armband from inside centre.

George Ford and Ben Youngs continue at half-back, while wingers Jonny May and Anthony Watson and full-back Max Malins make up the back three.

Props Mako Vunipola and Kyle Sinckler will sandwich Luke Cowan-Dickie in the front row, with Charlie Ewels and last week’s match-winner Maro Itoje at lock.

Mark Wilson, Tom Curry and Billy Vunipola complete the pack and will form the back row.

“This is our most important game of the tournament and we want to finish well,” Jones said.

“We’re anticipating a hard, tough game against Ireland and we’ve picked this team to cope with that. We want to take it to Ireland physically and play the rugby we want to play.”
