As the final weekend of a pulsating Championship approaches, it’s worth looking at the battle between the nations off the field as Wales and England prepare to do battle for the title on it.

England may have slipped behind Wales’ in the Guinness Six Nations with a 21-13 loss three weeks ago, but fans of the Red Rose can hold their heads high as they lead the coveted Guinness Six Nations Fantasy Rugby League table.

With a mammoth 1883 points, it’s England fans that are at the summit of the league – 13 points ahead of their Welsh counterparts.

England fans racked up a monumental 492 points in Round 3 as their side recorded a 57-14 victory over Italy to extend their lead at the top, but fans of Warren Gatland’s side were unable to replicate their side’s in-game performance as they achieved just 477.

Both teams sit comfortably ahead of third-placed Scotland, whose loyal fans have notched up 1820 points over the course of the Championship.

The battle for fourth place is well and truly on between Ireland and Italy, with supporters of the former able to edge out the Azzurri as they watched their team comfortably dispatch France 26-14 on the field.

They remain on 1808 points, while Italy fans are just four points behind as they look to fare better than their national side, who remain bottom of the Six Nations table.

Coming in sixth place are the French fans, who only scored 439 points this week to place them on 1739 overall.
