Lecce, Parma and Padova will host Italy Women’s three home games in the Women’s Six Nations in 2019.
The Council of the FIR met in Bologna on Thursday to make the decision to select the venues.
After the success of the Under-20s clash against Scotland in Bari, the FIR have chosen to return to the Puglia region at the Stadio Via del Mare where they will entertain Wales, who they beat last season at Principality Stadium, in the second round of games.
A fortnight later, in the third round, the Azzurre will host Ireland at the Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi in Parma before on the final weekend, the Stadio Plebiscito in Padua will be the venue for the arrival of champions France.
Italy women schedule for the 2019 Women’s Six Nations:
Sunday February 3 – Venue TBC Scotland v Italy
Sunday February 10 – Stadio Via del Mare, Lecce Italy v Wales
Sunday February 24 – Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi, Parma Italy v Ireland
Sunday March 10 – Venue TBC England v Italy
Sunday March 17 – Stadio Plebiscito, Padua Italy v France
