Jacques Brunel looks set to be able to count on Wesley Fofana, Maxime Médard and Uini Atonio after the trio were included in a 31-man squad to prepare for the reception of Scotland in Round Three of the Guinness Six Nations.
All three players started the opening game of the Championship against Wales, before missing Sunday’s defeat to England at Twickenham.
Atonio travelled to London with the side, while backs Fofana and Médard remained in France to continue their treatment, but they now look set to be ready for the clash with the Scots.
The prop had been struggling with a knee injury, while Fofana had a thigh strain and Médard underwent an MRI on a shoulder problem.
Elsewhere Jacques Brunel has chosen to stick with the same squad that featured in the first two games, with Les Bleus looking to bounce back from a heavy loss to England last time out.
In that game Dorian Aldegheri and Thomas Ramos made their Test debuts off the bench, while Romain Ntamack, Paul Willemse and Grégory Alldritt did the same a week earlier.
After a three-day break, Les Bleus will meet up at the national training centre in Marcoussis on Thursday to start preparing for the game against Scotland.
